Family & Friends Punting is a private social tipping club for horse racing. It uses play-money stakes only — there is no real-money wagering, no payouts, and no gambling of any kind.
Anyone can create their own meet and become its owner. You join a meet either by an email invitation from a meet owner/admin, or by entering a shareable join code (or opening a join link). You only ever see the meets you belong to.
Email address and display name (for your account), the meets you own or belong to, your bet picks and results, and, if you enable notifications, a device push token.
If you invite someone to a meet, we store the email address you provide in order to deliver and manage that invitation.
We do not collect payment information, location data, or advertising identifiers.
Solely to operate the app: authenticating you, managing your meet memberships and invitations, recording your tips/bets, calculating leaderboard results, and sending you notifications about race results or meets you belong to.
Your data is scoped per meet. Members of a meet can see that meet's races, results, and other members' bets and display names for the shared leaderboard. Members of other meets you don't belong to cannot see your data, and you cannot see theirs.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase for the database/auth, Expo for push delivery) solely to run the app.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (bets, results, device tokens) at any time from Account → Delete Account in the iOS or Android app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
